While browsing the thread on men’s fetishes, I came across a few comments expressing confusion with regards to foot fetishes and questioning why anyone would develop a love of feet. As someone with a huge foot fetish, I’ve often too wondered what exactly it is about feet that I love so much. After a day of intense thought and reflection, I think I may I have moved a bit closer to a sound explanation. Of course, this explanation might be specific to me, but maybe others out there will share these sentiments.
I think, when it comes down to it, feet are signs of sensuality and vulnerability.
Our feet are two appendages that we hardly dedicate any conscious brain power to using. Further, they’re cooped up in two shoes, subject to the weight of our bodies, and are beaten pretty badly compared to the other parts of our body, on a daily basis. They’re not utilized for sexual pleasure, as our tongues, lips, and hands may be. So on the whole, they are often neglected and serve the exclusive purpose of getting us from point A to point B. Most people don’t look at your feet, and when they do, often times they can’t even see them, so there’s really no point to taking are of them.
